Park city locker room addendum

  • Employee Locker Rooms

  • To manage capacity constraints, limit time in locker room to complete tasks required to prepare for shift. Loitering, socializing, or otherwise spending unnecessary time in locker rooms is prohibited.

    • Max locker room occupancy at PCMV is 81. Max locker room occupancy at CYV is 103

      • The space will be managed for physical distancing which will result in lower occupancy at any given time

    • Access to the locker room will be strictly limited to employees only

      • No guests, including family members, will be allowed in the locker room under any circumstance

    • Access to locker rooms for employees working a lesson product will be strictly limited to 10 minutes – enough time to put on/take off boots and access/put away skis

      • Access time will be assigned based on the product you are teaching

      • Access will be strictly limited to your assigned locker room location

    • Access to locker rooms for employees attending a training clinic will be strictly limited to 10 minutes – enough time to put on/take off boots and access/put away skis

      • Access will not be available before 9:30am or after 3:00pm

      • This will be strictly enforced

    • Every employee must follow the designated routes in to, and through, the locker room. No exceptions.

      • CYV “Enter” door is the South door. “Exit” is the North door

        • No exceptions

      • There is one in and out door for PCMV. Arrows will guide you.

  • OFF-duty Employees

  • Off-duty employees not scheduled for work are only permitted to enter locker rooms during non-peak hours as determined by local leadership (i.e. locker room access is limited during shift change periods). Communicate access protocol to employees.

    • Access to locker rooms for off duty employees not attending a training clinic or other SSBS unpaid activity will be strictly limited to 10 minutes – enough time to put on/take off boots and access/put away skis

      • Access will not be available before 10am or after 2pm when off Duty

      • This will be strictly enforced

  • When possible, repurpose unused space for locker/employee storage. Based on locker room setup, consider having employees change in restrooms to allow for more capacity in locker rooms.

  • Lockers must be individually assigned. Shared lockers are not otherwise permitted. If necessary, implement storage containers/bins as an alternative.

    • Lockers will be assigned in the following order: FT, PT 32 by years of service, PT18 by years of service, Holiday Help (8 day) by years of service

    • There may not be a locker available to every staff member

  • Uniforms

  • When possible, employees should arrive for their shift in uniform to eliminate the need to change and spend time in the locker room. Employees are permitted to wear their uniform home at the end of their shift. This is a temporary exception to the On-Mountain Winter Uniform Policy (O-01).

    • SSBS employees will be required to wear their uniform to and from their work shift

    • Exceptions may be worked out on a case by case basis with your LM and approved by your GM

  • Employee uniforms assigned to individuals must be stored separately from other employees’ uniforms (in separate lockers or other physical barrier).

  • For departments that launder employee uniforms (external or internal): 1. Designate two areas, one for clean uniforms and one for dirty uniforms. Clearly mark the areas. 2. Shared uniforms must be laundered between each use.

  • Storage

  • Eliminate use of shared closets/spaces for storage of personal items other than skis/boards or boot dryers.

  • All personal items must be contained within the locker/storage space.

  • Items of non-employees (friends/family) may not be stored in locker rooms or equipment storage spaces

    • Access to the locker room will be strictly limited to employees only

      • No guests, including family members, will be allowed in the locker room under any circumstance

  • Limit access to locker rooms to only employees with a legitimate business purpose (e.g. F&B employees should not enter Lift Ops locker room).

  • No consumption of food or drink is allowed while utilizing locker space (to ensure face coverings are on at all times). Delineate spaces for food consumption in mixed use facilities.

  • CV SSBS Boot Room Access

  • The door is propped open during “locker room hours”

  • Full time staff only will be assigned a specific boot dryer

    • No other staff will have access to the boot room

  • One person is allowed in the boot room at a time

    • There will be a socially distanced que for 4 people inside the locker room

    • All others waiting will que outside the locker room

  • PCMV SSBS Boot Room Access

  • Full time staff only will be assigned a specific boot dryer

    • No other staff will have access to the boot room

  • No more than 5 people will be allowed in the boot room at one time

    • There will be a socially distanced que for up to 6 people

  • There will be a designated entrance and exit

    • You must follow enter and exit signs. No exceptions

  • Ski Tuning Benches

  • Ski Tuning Benches will be available by appointment only – no exceptions

    • Instructors must use all of their own tune equipment and follow all tuning SOPs

    • See your LM or PM for availability
