Levelling Process: Comfort and Ability Assessments
Instructor expectations for lesson group:
Guests will be able to ski at a similar pace, on the same terrain.
Guests have been generally leveled, but verification must be completed.
Guest Expectations at post:
To be placed in the best group for their ability and goals
Instructor is engaged with the group organizing process, & is engaged with each member of the group.
Expectations of Instructors at post:
Will be at post as soon as assigned, focused on guests.
Engage each guest in conversations that verify they are in the best group for their abilities and goals.
Continue to engage with the group as it grows.
Connect with instructors at posts above and below you (and others at your post if more than one) before leaving the meeting area.
Upon Departure for your Warm Up Lap Check your Roster
Warm Up Lap is Non-Teaching and is Visual Verification of Similar Speed, Terrain, & Ability Goals

How long have you been skiing?
How often do you ski?
When did you last do it (a trip, or a day)?
Where did you do it?
What kind of runs do you like the best?
What kinds of snow do you enjoy skiing on?
What do you want to do today?
Can you stop?
Have you ridden a chairlift?
Do feel like you’re in the front seat driving, or sitting in the back seat taking a ride?
