Park city has an Equipment Loaner Program (ELP) to make skiing and riding equipment rentals available to employees who require equipment to perform their job. The rental equipment available to eligible employees free is of charge and is available during the entirety of the winter season. The equipment will be pulled from a fleet of used rentals designated for the program. The available equipment include: skis, snowboards, bindings and boots. Helmets are available though the uniform office. Employees also get 40% off at all vail retail stores.

Note* This is a rental and will need to be returned.

Role of Eligible Employees

Eligible employees will receive a link to the equipment request form from their manager and will be responsible for the following: 

  1. Filling out the equipment request form fully and accurately

  2. Scheduling an equipment pick-up appointment

  3. Picking up actual equipment

  4. Providing the rental store with the required items at time of pick-up

    • Confirmation email of approval, Employee ID, Photo ID, Minor Release of Liability (when applicable)

  5. Maintaining the integrity of the equipment through proper care & maintenance

  6. Returning the equipment at the end of the season or end of employment, whichever comes first

Equipment Request Form for Eligible Employees

As mentioned, eligible employees will be responsible for filling out an Equipment Request form. This form is to not only request equipment, but request approval to participate in the program.

Employees will be asked to provide all necessary information to justify the request for the program and the information needed for the equipment rental.

  1. Employee Name, address

  2. Employee email – email that the employee has access to

  3. DOB

  4. Resort location and role

  5. Height/Weight

  6. Shoe Size

  7. Equipment needed/Type (Ski vs Snowboard, Beginner vs. Intermediate)
