Returning instructor work status details

Welcome back returning instructors!

Please review the scheduling plans below and select your preferred work status for scheduling for the upcoming 24-25 Winter season. The status options are Full Time,, Part Time 4, Part Time 32, Part Time 18, and a Part Time Program Hybrid. The details on these statuses are outlined below.

Tentative Season Dates: 11/22/2024 to 4/21/2025

Full Time: Average 5 Days/week (full time benefits - Priority tier 1)

The Full Time Schedule Request must include:

  • At least 5 days the week of Thanksgiving (11/24-11/30)

  • At least 40 of the Peak* Days (red)

  • At least one of December 25th or January 1st

  • An average of 5 days per week between December 15 and April 5 (min. 80 days)

FT5 Instructors will be in the top tier of priority.

* Peak days may be adjusted based on business needs.

Part Time 4: Minimum 4 Day per Week (Part Time Benefits - Priority Tier 2)

The Part Time 4 Schedule Request must include:

  • At least 4 days the week of Thanksgiving (11/24-11/30)

  • At least 40 of the Peak* Days (red)

  • At least one of December 25th or January 1st

  • An average of 4 days per week between December 15 and April 5 (min. 64 days)

PT4 Instructors will be in the second tier of priority.

* Peak days may be adjusted based on business needs.

Part Time 32: 32 or More Day Schedule (Part Time Benefits - Priority Tier 3)

The Part Time 32 Schedule Request must include:

  • 32 of the Peak (red) Days

PT32 Instructors will be in the third tier of priority.

* Peak days may be adjusted based on business needs.

Part Time 18: 18 or more Day Schedule (Part Time Benefits - Priority Tier 4)

The Part Time 18 Schedule Request must include:

  • At least 18 Days, which must include

    • A minimum of 6 blue days

    • At least 3 days of either color in each of December, February and March.

  • PT18 Instructors will be in the fourth tier of priority.

* Red and Blue days may be adjusted based on business needs.

Part Time Program Hybrid

You will select a schedule commitment based on the outline above, and then indicate which program(s) you are interested in coaching, and this can include some midweek preschool programs. Each full day of program work will count towards one day of the schedule commitment you make.

On the 18 Day, selecting a Weekend Program replaces the blue day requirement.

Current College Students

If you are currently enrolled full time in college, you may be eligible for a special College Schedule that allows you to schedule most of your days during your school holiday - please contact your manager to find out if you qualify for this special schedule.
