Key points to a successful Family Private
Family privates take a lot of energy but are one of the best ways to building repeat clients
Make a plan for the day early (lunch time, naps if needed, splitting up time if some members have experience)
Set expectations
Lesson will be geared and paced for the lowest level. Usually the youngest students who will progress a little slower
Pace your own effort. If you over work yourself you can easily use up all of your energy by lunch
Have multiple drills for the same task to keep student engaged
Don’t just ignore the members learning faster. Give them harder tasks to try on a solo lap of a carpet. Try paring up an older sibling to help show them a task and let them demonstrate if possible.
Wrap up the lesson with what the parents can do to help their kids continue to develop and not learn bad habits.
Always end with a plan for the next lesson.
