Family Privates

Key points to a successful Family Private

  • Family privates take a lot of energy but are one of the best ways to building repeat clients

  • Make a plan for the day early (lunch time, naps if needed, splitting up time if some members have experience)

  • Set expectations

    • Lesson will be geared and paced for the lowest level. Usually the youngest students who will progress a little slower

  • Pace your own effort. If you over work yourself you can easily use up all of your energy by lunch

  • Have multiple drills for the same task to keep student engaged

  • Don’t just ignore the members learning faster. Give them harder tasks to try on a solo lap of a carpet. Try paring up an older sibling to help show them a task and let them demonstrate if possible.

  • Wrap up the lesson with what the parents can do to help their kids continue to develop and not learn bad habits.

  • Always end with a plan for the next lesson.
